Personal web archive Archive.org is an important non-profit US based organization and they are doing an incredible job at archiving the web. But, they are not perfect and they can not be the only ones. Goal: there should be a P2P alternative to web archiving.

PosterPress Posterous was a great platform for publishing (and auto-cross-posting). The main inconvenient is that it's not free software and there is no way to host it yourself (though you can use a custom domain). So the goal here is to see how Wordpress could be tweaked to work as (much as) Posterous.
