NodeMCU + Range Sensor

A NodeMCU (ESP8266) connected to a range sensor (HC-SR04)

Here are the two tutorials that got me this circuit wired properly:

	*   Using the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor with Arduino
